Today's outfit post was inspired by Zooey Deschanel's coat in "Yes Man". I have not seen the movie yet but when I wore this to work, a colleague came up to me and said "Your dress reminds me of the girl's coat in Yes Man". Intrigued, I scoured the internet for a picture of it and this is the only one I found.

Really cute isn't it? Has anyone seen her movie 500 Days of Summer? Is it any good? I like her and specially love that she has a wonderful singing voice.

I've had the necklace since I can remember. My mom gave it to me. I was arranging my jewelries and found it. I had forgotten about it since I have been wearing mostly costume jewelries and accessories.

What do you think about my curls? I followed the equally gorgeous Maegan's (...Love Maegan) and Delmy's ( Fashion Bananas) hair how-to's. Not quite there yet but not bad eh?

I started the blog as an outlet and as a means of sharing my fashion finds with my sisters since we all live in different states.

Restaurateur - isn't it obvious from all the food porn I've been posting? =)).

What's your favorite brand of jeans?
Not loyal to any brand but I wear my Frankie Bs, Antik and Citizens of Humanity a lot

One thing you would snitch out of someones closet with no regrets?
I don't have the guts to do that, besides it would probably be something big like a vintage Chanel purse or a pair of Louboutins that you just cannot snitch without getting caught haha

What piece of designer clothing would you most like to own new or vintage?
I would love to own a Valentino gown, a tailored Chanel suit, a Herve Leger bandage dress, and my list grows every day...

Shopping: Shoes Galore!

A couple of weeks back, T and I decided to go on an impromptu shopping in Orlando. I had to complete my shopping before school starts since I will barely have time to do anything. Our first stop lunch at the Elephant Bar Restaurant...



I had a virgin Tropical Colada - so refreshing! Yeah, no alcohol - hey it's 12 noon and I need to be sober shopping! ha ha





and a Blackened Grilled Salmon over summer vegetables...



Ater lunch, we headed to Neiman Marcus. The store was having an additional 25% off on all sale items so I managed to find these Loubs in my size...


Next stop - Jimmy Choo. They are having 50% off and although I went there looking for sandals, those that I liked really didn't fit well so I ended up getting these pumps instead...


I will be wearing the Loubs for my graduation dinner and probably the graduation day too. I also found the perfect dresses this weekend at - well of course my fave store - BCBG, and will share them with you all in my next post.
