Today's outfit post was inspired by Zooey Deschanel's coat in "Yes Man". I have not seen the movie yet but when I wore this to work, a colleague came up to me and said "Your dress reminds me of the girl's coat in Yes Man". Intrigued, I scoured the internet for a picture of it and this is the only one I found.

Really cute isn't it? Has anyone seen her movie 500 Days of Summer? Is it any good? I like her and specially love that she has a wonderful singing voice.

im telling you girl....i was telling hubs..now is the time to trim the fat. no more excess anything because it just leads to "needing" more excess shit!
i've been playing the " simpler kind of life" song/words in my head a lot.... just to keep me motivated. and speaking of which i was just on the Gilt sale and had 1 dress and 2 bags in my cart....and then i said NOPE dont need it...and emptied my cart. it just wasnt worth it.

Love the whole look! I remember being temped to get the dress, but when I tried it on, it was a bit too short on me. Huge fan of Zooey Dechanel as well. I haven't seen 500 Days of Summer yet, but I have seen Yes Man. Don't remember her wearing that coat though... might have to watch it again...
