Look: The Boardroom

I work 5 days a week so my wardrobe choices have to be work friendly. There are days when we have clients visiting or meetings that require dressing more business-like. As much as I love jeans and boots, I also love pumps and suits.

Look: The Gray Suit

Probably not the most flattering shot but I do love this suit. I have worn the jacket with jeans a few times and really love the unconventional fold of the sleeves which can also be worn unrolled.

I normally don't wear my suits together to break down the monotony in color. But there are suits that still look sharp and good when paired together such as this one. Gray is my other black. I can wear it with different colors - black, pink, red, blue, teal, white... and the color possibility is endless. Do you stick with black or is gray your other black too?

Look: the Little Black Dress and a scare

Day to night outfit...

After work last Wednesday night I decided to pick up a bag of treats for Boemee before going home to prepare for a dinner with McDreamy. And as I was driving, an elder lady driver made a quick left turn, cutting through both of the opposite direction lanes, not stopping in the median and driving diagonally through the direction I was going then hitting my car on the driver side. It was like in the movies where you see everything happening in slow motion. I was so scared and shaking for a good while. I just sat there in my car for a few minutes and then called 911 and my sister then texted McDreamy who came to the scene. It was a blessing that neither the elder lady nor I got hurt.

So my lovelies, no matter how careful you are as a driver, you cannot be sure about the other drivers on the road. Always be alert and be safe.

Shopping: Shoes Galore!

A couple of weeks back, T and I decided to go on an impromptu shopping in Orlando. I had to complete my shopping before school starts since I will barely have time to do anything. Our first stop lunch at the Elephant Bar Restaurant...



I had a virgin Tropical Colada - so refreshing! Yeah, no alcohol - hey it's 12 noon and I need to be sober shopping! ha ha





and a Blackened Grilled Salmon over summer vegetables...



Ater lunch, we headed to Neiman Marcus. The store was having an additional 25% off on all sale items so I managed to find these Loubs in my size...


Next stop - Jimmy Choo. They are having 50% off and although I went there looking for sandals, those that I liked really didn't fit well so I ended up getting these pumps instead...


I will be wearing the Loubs for my graduation dinner and probably the graduation day too. I also found the perfect dresses this weekend at - well of course my fave store - BCBG, and will share them with you all in my next post.
